More willows ... comming up on 30 curly willow trees from one that arrived in a little pot from the Womans Garden Club several yrs ago.. 3 were planted sept 15th , 2012, doing very well.....22 hit the soil last oct 14th,2013,,soon i will know how they faired, ( those are gonna be just fine i beleive )....tues, march 18th,2014, 5 more hit the soil ( still winter per calender ) , soon i will also know if this process works...3 young maples looking good,,, one casualty, a black walnut,, squirrel planted it in the center of driveway,,after 2 yrs i trans-planted it cause i wanted my drive back..now either that damm buck stepped on it OR A 4 WHEELER DID,,GGRRRRRRRRRRRR.......best of all i got a willow growing on the stove for safety reasons,,,,it literaly grew up a ft and teed off,both off-shoots are 100% horizonal,,,,soon i will know if braiding the branches on the moma tree was a success too....watching one tree grow is very boring, but 35, that is very exciting.........
