Mornin... Pills in.. Coffee, nice and hot. 34 cloudy degrees. High of 40. Mostly cloudy and snow showers. 23 for a low tonight. Evening snow showers. The rooster crows. Day has dawned and Im stifling a yawn...Missed a few days here. Still resting a knee. Everything(Movement)is just a tiresome chore. This all happened a week ago yesterday and Im trying not to be grumpy, tired and mean... 2 out of 3 aint bad. I rotate them to even things out. Today quiet introspection seems to fit the bill. Wishing that my prediction of a long cold winter didnt seem so real. But hey!!! Who can predict the weather. Its just gonna do what its gonna do. Im just here to enjoy how its gonna go.. The house is warm and hums and the heat flows. Im so glad I dont have to cut wood anymore. I couldnt if I wanted to. Happy to have a coal stove I dont have to feed constantly. Another thing I couldnt do. Its in the basement and Im thinking next year that it needs to be upstairs for general ease for Bets and myself. Its just me and the my Rock today. Were using constant leash law in the house for manners training. Something like a ball and chain. He dozes on the couch. Today is cook free day. Catch as catch can for everyone else. Theres a roasted chicken in the oven for them to finish off. Ala Bets.. Perfect beer can roasted chicken that rivals Mickeys Market. I have plenty of grapes, water and cranberry juice.
