Mornin .. Well has gone to work. She had to go in early for inventory at 6:00am.. She hasnt slept. We sat on the couch together holding each other for a while and she just got up and started getting ready to go.. Ethan drove her in I think. I collapsed before she left.. I havent heard Ethan come back or Rocky making a raucous. Rocky was upset with all the action and wasnt happy until Ethan and Brittany came back after the fire and everyone had gone. Ethan slept in his recliner in room and Britt to his bead. She was a trooper and was the first to spot the fire. Linds.. went to Pats mothers house and Vinny took the dogs.. Gary and Pat were put up by the Red Cross. I havent seen them yet. I expect to see him later on. Im trying not to look out my window like I do every morning for the last 7+ plus years. No crows or Ruby barking to herald in my day. From the corner of my eye I watch billowing steam drift in the wind. Ethan britt said the only thing left is the small front porch and the bags of coal that were there. 3 ducks survived under the porch in their small coop. Amazing.. I can look from my porch yet.. Going get my coffee and just rest quietly. Or maybe nap a bit longer.. I cant wait for Bets to get home.. She took it very hard.. I need to see my friend. We have our generator ready for them to use on the camper that survived. Hopefully we muster up folks from here to start things moving.. Gary and a family member just drove by to look at the ruins. Guess its time to get dressed.
