Morning Inspiration with Pastor Merritt I know youve heard this before, but the primary responsibility for educating your children does not lie with the schools or the churches, but it lies with you at home. God intended for the home to be the University of life. Home is where right or wrong is taught. It is where children learn that actions have consequences. It is where they learn personal responsibilities. It is where they learn to be kind, courteous, submit to authority, be obedient, and practice selflessness. It is where they learn how to love God. It is also where they learn how to serve others. When a family loves God and when they serve each other they have a story to share Parents, the greatest gift you will ever give your children is not a will, a living trust, or a truckload full of money. The greatest gift you will ever give your children is a godly parent who loves God more than anything or anybody. Share this with a friend.
