Morning Inspiration with Pastor Merritt When you study the three years of Jesus’ life as recorded in the Gospel you find amazingly that His life revolved around missing persons. Every person without God is a missing person to God. There is an Amber Alert on every empty chair in any Worship Center. Jesus spent the three most important years of His life doing two simple things: · Finding missing persons · Making committed disciples Of all the things He could have done (write books, make money, start a business, go to school) He gave His life to those two things. He wants you to give your life to those two things. Key Take Away: When you make the purpose of His life, the purpose of your life, you find the real purpose of life. That purpose is found in the process of becoming a follower of Jesus. You can sum up everything Jesus wants you to do in the very first command He ever gave to anyone. It is found in two words: “Follow Me.” Those two words are the foundation of living a purpose filled life with eternal consequences. Share this with a friend.
