We tend to move away from pain and toward pleasure. Amazingly some people “imagine” more pain in making a change so they just suffer and tolerate the pain of the situations they find themselves in each day. Each day turns to a week….weeks into months…..months into years! As time passes they find themselves walking through life as if they are walking through quicksand….not a good feeling. The cool thing about the Pain Pleasure Principle is this… we can learn to use it to make some positive changes! “Imagine” more pain in not making the change and more pleasure in the outcome.
