Morning Prayer: Father God, Thank You for helping me to sleep peacefully last night. I awake refreshed and ready to worship You on this beautiful Lord’s Day. This morning as I sit quietly in Your presence, I am reminded that we face a battle daily. Not a physical battle against flesh and blood, but a spiritual battle against the forces of evil. The enemy knows his days are short, and he looks for opportunities to bring discouragement and despair to try and draw us away from You. Help us to be prepared for these daily battles by putting on the full armor of God that You have provided us with so that when the day of evil comes we will be able to stand our ground so that we will not falter nor will we fall. Help us to be alert and ready, guard our hearts and our minds through the power of the Holy Spirit. We will not give up nor will we be defeated. For it’s in the mighty name of Jesus that I pray. Amen.
