Morning Verses Ephesians 6:10-11 KJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Evening Verses Psalm 119: 27-28 KJV 27 Make me to understand the way of your precepts: so shall I talk of your wondrous works. 28 My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen you me according to your word. Insight Our lives are cluttered with rule books, but the authors never come with us to help us follow the rules. But God does. That is the uniqueness of our Bible. God not only provides the rules and guidelines, but comes with us personally each day to strengthen us so that we can live according to those rules. Challenge All we must do is invite him and respond to his direction. Mary Garrett Morning Verse: Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Mary Garrett Evening Verse: Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. INSIGHT: When we get death for sin, were only being paid what were owed — sin is rebellion against the God who loves us and gave us his most precious gift to redeem us from sin! But Gods gift is free — eternal life in Jesus Christ. We could not earn it, deserve it, or demand it. So God offered it by grace. PRAYER: Thank you God for loving me when no one else could or would. Thank you for sacrificing the most precious gift of heaven so I could join you there. Of all the gifts Ive ever received, yours is the best. I offer this praise in the name of one whose gift has given me life! Amen.
