Morning all..! Welcome! Welcome, to another week here at WhiteDetails. Starting things off, a 64 plate Fiesta ST booked for a New Car Detail. Complete with blebs/fish-eyes in the paint (dozens of), the common buffertrails on the plastic bumpers and check the vinyl B-Pillars on the drivers side, ripped and rippled...!! All of which have been reported by my customer to the supplying dealership who arent prepared to help. Although the vehicle was supplied as per customer instructions (IE, untouched), unfortunately light swirls, haze and marring have been induced already by a bad wash/clay and polish session by the customer in hope to lay down some protection prior to my booking. Doh! Detailers, what paint thicknesses should I be expecting on these new pocket rockets..? Its the first time Ive done one and across the board, were avg 200um...
