Morning all, a cracking day out in Blackpool yesterday with Neptune tours as always, and a great three points for the Rams. On 9 April, 1483, Edward V became King of England. He was never crowned, however, as his uncle, protector and infamous tyrant Richard III became King just a couple of months later. Edward and his younger brother Richard were sent to the Tower of London, and became the Princes in the Tower. Although they were seen by some people early on in their captivity, soon they disappeared without trace - were they murdered? We will probably never know, but it would only take two years for Richard III to get his comeuppance as he was defeated at Bosworth by Henry Tudor. Remember how we said the Tudor rose incorporated the white rose of York? Well that was due to Henry Tudors marriage to Elizabeth, young Edward Vs sister, who would become Queen Consort and the mother of one of the most famous kings of them all, Henry VIII. Funny how history works out, isnt it? See if Manchester United can follow Chelsea into the history books by winning in Munich tonight at 7:45pm - live, in the Neptune!
