Morning chatters :) I fully appreciate that emotions are running high at the moment. However, please think before you blindly share a post when a criminal investigation is ongoing. With a medium like Facebook, posts can very quickly go viral and a good defense lawyer will argue that due to the sheer amount of exposure in the public domain there can be no chance of a fair trial. In the old days, a different court could be used in a different part of the country if it was deemed that due to local gossip a fair trial was questionable. Social media has made this kind of thing an even bigger problems and lets face it, who amongst us would want this case to collapse due to a mad scramble to make this go viral. Please think before sharing. This is not a post for the incident in question to be discussed - please do not comment other than bumping. Admin x
