Morning has broken. It never fails to make me stop and think when I remember that everything I know and experience is filtered by my point of view. This is a perplexing limitation inasmuch as my point of view is, in turn, affected by my life experience. Maybe this principle applies to science. After all, much as we continue to expand our physical point of view it is necessarily infinitesimal in relation to the perceived universe. The only thing we cant know is the ratio of our point of view to the whole since the farther we look the more we discover to have been there all along. Science proceeds by extrapolation from relatively stable known tendencies of the physical universe. Where something appears to fall outside of the construct the question why impels is to find a physical or rational viewpoint in which it ( a. ) either becomes understood within the boundaries of the current construct or(b) requires the renovation of the whole construct in a relatively stable way which embraces the nonconforming data or event while demonstrating that the previous construct, while relatively true, was incomplete because of the relative limitations of its physical or theoretical point of view .
