Morning rant. Wildlife rescues are all voluntary. None of them - TopicsExpress

Morning rant. Wildlife rescues are all voluntary. None of them get paid to do what they do. We are not supported by the Govt., the RSPCA or anyone else. Big rescues, small rescues, all do it for the sake of animals therefore no, you do not have the right to demand we take animals in, you do not have the right to tell us what we are or are not going to do. Guilt tripping us into doing what you want is really not on. If we say we are full and give you alternative places to take the animal to it means WE ARE FULL, and we will be unable to provide proper care for what we do have if we are forced to take yours as well and please remember, its not just yours, you are not the only one calling us. We do everything we possibly can for whatever species but eventually we have to call a halt. So if you blackmail us, insist we take in and turn up anyway even when we have asked you not to, please dont be offended if you get a smack round the chops. Rant over
