Morning rant...(if you dont like it...please delete me). I am so saddened that the whole popular thing starts as young as 7 yrs old. While French braiding my daughters hair (which I thought I did pretty well), she looks in the mirror smiles, but then looked sad and pulled it down. She said she cant wear it like that or she will be made fun of. Apparently there are some girls who in P.E. have nothing better to do with their time but make fun of others clothes, shoes, and hair. I recently bought my daughter some new winter clothes/boots and her comment was maybe now they will like me. I mean seriously??? I teach my kids to be kind to everyone. You never know someone elses story or situation. We teach for them to look at someones heart and to show love to all people. Watching her tear up this morning over this makes me realize where some of her anxiety comes from. Get a grip people and raise your kiddos right. My comment to my kids everyday walking out the door is make good choices...show someone Jesus today. Wish everyone taught their kids to see others through the eyes of Jesus. I am heartbroken by this 💔
