Mornings with the As - Its so cold. Yep. I dont think I can walk much further. Yeah, you can. Do you know how warm it is in Louisiana? Not a clue. Right now, its as warm as the warmest itll be here all day. Thats true for a lot of places in the south. Very interesting. You should apply the same attention to getting ready for school in the morning. Theres frost on the ground already. Yep. That means its freezing! Nope. Two degrees above. I cant survive another winter here! Im going to die! No you wont. I will! Youll be a murderer! For not moving?! Yes! For keeping me here knowing its going to kill me! Im going to freeze to death! Uh huh. How will that make you feel then? Terrible Im sure. I dont particularly enjoy being wrong. You know youll go to jail then for murder! Just think about that. Ok. Are you thinking about it? Well, I would have time and quiet to do my homework, wouldnt have to worry about what Im going to wear, plenty of time to read and review books, interesting bible studies, 3 hot meals, a place to eat, wouldnt have to worry about the bills, healthcare, hmmm. You dont love me! Youd be happy if I was dead! You want me to freeze to death! Yep. Thats why I zipped up your winter coat, made sure your hair wasnt caught in it, made sure you got your meds, oh yes...the hate, the apathy. Im going to freeze to death!!! You do understand its going to be in the 50s and it is ridiculously difficult to freeze to death walking a mile - maybe - in 50 degree weather and that freezing temperature is 32 degrees which it is not, right? My body wasnt designed for this kind of weather! You were born in IL. You have lived in MO and IL in your life. Youve yet to die. You just dont understand. Clearly.
