Moses probably never existed and the Exodus didnt happen as the bible depicts it, if it happened at all (which there is no good evidence that it did). Im looking forward to getting D.M. Murdocks comprehensive scholarly book about the topic which has hundreds of citations from several different languages and cultures which demonstrate that ancient Israeli mythology was heavily influenced by the cultures around them at the time.
