Mosey and Ash are incredibly happy to have a big open yard in which to roam. Poor Ash has been sitting in a window for 3 years staring out at a damned ole parking lot in an apartment complex. Now he has become an indoor/outdoor cat. He smells of sage and rain water - monsoon season here in Taos. He roams in and out. When he first "escaped" I talked to all of my neighbors and was frightened he would freak and run. However, I knew he was too pretty and friendly, and someone would take him in. I knew I would find him in a day or two of going door to door. All of the denizens of the Ashram were looking for Ash. I woke up at 7 am, the next day, and he trotted in happy as a pig in shit - he was quite hungry. Now he comes and goes pretty much as he pleases - except when I am going to be out for awhile. Then he crawls up on my bed and takes a long nap. I am not the only one to be happy in Taos.
