Moss, Lichen and Fungi Field Trip with Russ Holmes Saturday, November 22, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Four Springs Lake Preserve Join Russ Holmes, retired forest service botanist, for a walk through Four Springs Lake Preserve trails to identify some of the common Camano mosses, lichens, liverworts and fungi. See first hand the principles discussed in the Nov. 19 education program. Dress in layers appropriate for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring a hand lens if you have one, and meet in the main parking lot, 585 Lewis Lane, at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 Tour will take place rain or shine, no reservations required. Sorry, no dogs allowed on the guided walk. This field trip is part of a public education series hosted by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks.
