Most Facebook posting are about trivial everyday things. This is not one of them. Nancy had good news yesterday in her fight against colon cancer. As you may or may not know, Nancy had to switch to a more aggressive chemo treatment a couple of months ago because her cancer had continue to grow. Last Wednesday, she had another scan and when she met with her doctor yesterday, he reported that the cancer had remained the same so the new treatment is working. YEA! The cancer had not been reduced, but he said tumor reduction was overrated. The most important thing is to keep the cancer under control. Nancy will continue to receive treatment every two weeks which she is not working forward to and she has some side effects, but it is better than the alternative.
