Most know that I wasnt supposed to be able to have any more children after Hannah. So Henry was our own little miracle (in so many ways!). The night he was born was the last night my grandma was lucid. She declined very quickly after that night and two weeks later (the day before we brought him home from the hospital) we learned that grandma had a very aggressive, untreatable brain tumor and the outlook was grim. Four weeks later grandma left us to go rock babies in Heaven. The past 6 weeks have been such a crazy, surreal blur of miracles and tragedy but I fully believe God knew he would be taking grandma from us this year and sent us Henry to carry on her spirit. I dont think its any coincidence that she didnt get bad until after he was born and she didnt pass until after he was healthy and home.
