Most of my posts about my race for the State Legislature have been about education. I have been reluctant to comment on other issues, I do have a background as a small business owner and understand Main Street economics and feel comfortable in that area. As I look at the long list of things considered by state legislatures everywhere, so many of the bills that are introduced are intrusions in the lives and rights of individuals. We all share the fear of big government at the federal level, but much of the legislation that invades your privacy is coming from state legislatures. When I think about small government, I think about counties and cities, and even neighborhoods and families.
