Most of us in Miami in the 60s and mid to late 70s had the experience of working at a few radio stations in the same Miami market over a period of time. Great relationships were created and often funny things occurred when friends were forced to compete with each other. Heres a telegram-(remember them), that I received from old buddy Al Anderson, who I had worked for at one time or another. This telegram was sent on the day I switched on Love94, and, as many people say, crashed the BUS (WBUS). Almost the entire staff had also worked for, or with Al Anderson at one time...so we were the great bunch of talented guys. On sign on day, the staff included the likes of G Michael McKay, Irene Richard, Russ Oasis, Jim Kelly, Alan Michaels and Mark Denver; truly a great bunch of guys/gal...our chief engineer was Roy Pressman. They were a great staff!
