Most of you have been posting photos of your Dad for Fathers Day. For those of you from Altheimer, you all know my Dad was killed in a train accident when I was very young. I was very fortunate to have a very nice Uncle, R.M. Hoover to step into his place and assume the role of Father to me. He taught me much, from my work ethic to hunting, driving etc. Growing up in Altheimer, there were also numerous Gentlemen who also played a part in rearing and I would like to recognize some of them at this time.... In my world, these men are all Great !! Dadbobbit, himself, Herbert Wardlaw, Bill Lovelace, Cecil Hale, Grover Davis, L.G. Stephens, George Tomlin, Spud Vassaur, Mutt Finch, Garvis Pollard, Jess Walt, Willie Hooks and so many many more. Altheimer was a great place to grow up, and had so many great men who added to my life. Thank you all...
