Most of you may have seen my posts over the last few weeks in regards to the NZIPP 2014 Epson Iris Awards. It was very last minute (acutally 2 days before closing) that I decided to enter with a couple of images that personally loved and felt proud of. Its taken a long time for me to be in a space where I felt ready to have my work judged to even get enough confidence within myself to get to this level is an emotional gold. Well they have been judged and I was very honoured to walk away with 2 bronze and a silver. Now for the first time I can call myself and award winning photographer which I am still processing but one thing that I do want to say, is a big thank you to all the professional photographers within the NZIPP who have supported and encouraged me to grow and become a better photographer, you have all been amazing! (And of course my mum, my gorgeous man and my gorgeous subjects/clients, they are pretty amazing too) Anyway here are the shots which will now hang proudly in my studio!..... Award Speech over!! #awardwinningshoutoutfromtheheart
