Most people would be stumped if asked to name Indias biggest export item. It accounts for a fifth of our exports and is petroleum products ! This has happened because of the governments differential treatment of PSU oil refiners and Reliance, by way of giving subsidies only to the former and leaving the latter to fend for itself, forcing it to find markets for its value-added products. We all love taking slingshots at Goliath but give the behemoth credit where it is due and not be mislead by the lies peddled by Arvind Kejriwal and his ilk.
