Most sherried: Blair Athol cask 6928, this is what I call a real sherry bomb. A tiny little bit less sherried but a little bit more sweet is the Longmorn cask 105084. The Bunna cask 581: its less sherried but the sweetness is unique: I think its more like a malty sweetness, very nice and typical bunna as I taste the same kind of flavour in their 18yo core range. The best part of it: the price is under 100 euro/bottle, most of the time around 75 euro at introduction. Sherry bombs on a budget. Most sherried whisky I tasted last year is still the GlenDronach 1996 batch9 (cask 1487, 125 euro): I have a love/hate relationship with it, Im struggling with the rubbery taste and I would like to have it a bit more sweet, it has some kind of bitterness in it too. I guess a little bit too much sherry?
