Mother Nature still surprises us sometimes...that was the case last night. A little wave of low pressure that passed over the area turned out to be stronger than we thought and was able to squeeze out just enough moisture in very cold air to produce some snow. Its not much, but hopefully you snow fans can enjoy it! Be careful as you walk outside your door and hit the roads this morning. Still quite a bit of ice hiding under that snow. Temperatures will rise above freezing later this morning though and we should have no more worries about ice by this afternoon.
