Mothers.....I have had a few......my grandmothers, Estelle MacDonald and Gertrude Whiteway unbelievable stong courageous women far before their time , who gave me my mom and dad and me. my gram Macdonald lived upstairs in my house so this girl went up the back stairs to be at her side very easily, my dear aunt Eleanor who could not have children readily took me on as hers and saved me from being named Phyllis Irene!!!!!!!!!! My mom and I were a bit of oil and water as we were both strong minded but over the years we came to a place of working together and understanding. Mom died two years ago after a year in a nursing home with a failed body but a sharp mind this time was a gift to mom and I as we got to talk and establish a true mother daughter relationship and actually the last week of her life was unbelievable. It is never too late. There is time and place glad I was able to see it for us . To the wonderful women who were all such a mother to me. I was and am blessed.
