Movie Review: Perfect Sisters starring Abigail Breslin and Mira Sorvino is a haunting depiction of the real life murder of Linda Anderson (Sorvino) by her daughters Sandra (Breslin) & Beth (Georgie Henley) . The story is told through Sandras eyes. Her drunk mother moves the family often and cant stay on the wagon. The sisters only have each other. When they jokingly say they want to kill their mother for the money, their friends egg them on and help plot the best way. The joke becomes very real when Lindas boyfriend becomes abusive towards Beth and Sandra sees the bruises on their mother. They turn to help from their father, aunt, and even the government all to no avail. Their only out from this awful situation is to carry out their plan to get rid of their mother for good. The best part of the movie is how Abigail Breslin portrays Sandra. We see her unravel before our eyes. Perfect Sisters opens Friday for a limited engagement.
