Moving Update, Day Zero: All of our stuff got packed up by the moving company safe and sound. Theyll hold it more or less indefinitely for us, so thats good. That was from 8:30 am to about 1:30 pm. Then we went and turned in comcast boxes (they owe me 80 dollars which Ill get in 4-5 weeks in the actual mail. What bullshit is that?). Next we went to the Army base where we got a shirt for Angelus and me a new military grade bag for cons. The bag is currently holding our vacuum and a snuggie. We spent like 4 hours cleaning the apartment and the appliances from top to bottom and finally about 7:30 got checked into our hotel. We went swimming, showered, and ordered food. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and got up at 6:30 so well be crashing soon after eating. Tomorrow plans: Go to the apartment at 8 am and clean out the fridge/rinse the kitchen sink, the last two things to do. At 9:30 meet up with the building manager and do a walk through before handing over keys (I hope that goes well). Then we finally hit the road for Day 1 of our grand journey across the west.
