Mr. Als Wild Ride update.....after a major setback last week, Mr. Al is finally going back to work tomorrow! He was going to go back last Monday, but was blindsided by almost a week of awful withdrawal symptoms after stopping his pain medication. It really was a nightmare, but he made it through and is ready to get back to work. His right arm is pretty handy now and his left is still weak, but getting stronger each day. Al has lost 24 pounds during this wild ride...didnt expect that either. He still has a lot of healing to do and stamina to regain (and now some weight too), which will be a day-by-day process. After two long months, for now, we are happy the day has come Al can return to work!!! We wont even talk about the next surgery hell have in May or June......we just want to concentrate on the good!
