Mr. Blackbird shot out of his front door in the pampas grass this morning not expecting to see me there - veered sharply to the right and scared hell out of a pigeon who was cleaning up the leftovers from Mrs. Mallards breakfast. Mrs. M realised that shed left some edible bits behind and hurried back over (hurrying duck = excellent entertainment value). Meanwhile Ray wandered out onto the deck with his breakfast and spooked a squirrel who was probably plotting an assault on our so-far-squirrel-prolf bird feeder. Its just all go here.
