Mr. Charles B. Bell, age 89, of Murray died Wednesday, July 16,2014 at Spring Creek Health Care. Mr. Bell was born January 26, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Joseph Bell and Mary Agnes Lewis Bell. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Bell. He was a United States Army veteran serving during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and former owner of the Murray Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his son, David Bell (Nancy), Murray; daughter, Debbie Wood (Larry), Franklin; seven grandchildren, Angela Hoke, Michael Bell (Kelly), Paul Bell (Lisa), Bill Bell (Courtney), Jason Wood (Michelle), Brett Wood (Sunni), and Jenna McCormick (Henry); and nineteen great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home. Friends may visit the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday.
