Mr. Christian Rubalcaba, a 5th Grade Structured English Immersion Teacher at Olinder Elementary, was honored at the Districts Board meeting, Jan. 15th. Mr. Rubalcaba was recently recognized by the White House and U.S. Department of Education (DOE) and received a U.S. DOE summer 2015 internship. In addition, The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics featured him as a teacher-leader who is contributing to the Latino community and fulfilling America’s future.
