Would it happen to be about our whole little hamlet going to Europe to stand up for France while the French clerics here drove their people into hiding. The parents of our little settlement prayed for their boys to come home while some of them, like my paternal grandparents, had to put up with pulpit sermons that warned of the sin in joining an English Protestant War. By The Grace of God, my Father was taken out of a shallow grave near Flanders in France and came home. (Why would you wear a Poppy ? MOST, from eastern Ontario through northern N.B. refuse.) >< The federal government has never done anything to help our French Canadians with any psychological healing from that DEEP GUILT that was forced on them- NOT BY ENGLISH CANADIANS. One is tempted to say that there has not been a body with an ounce of honesty in parliament since P. E. Trudeau walked in. Now, you think you can tread water until the next election.
