Mr. Moon: Re-Israels atrocities. If a human cringes at the sight of dead children, what is God doing? The issues before us are crystal clear to those of us who in the past said the things we said, knowing that this day will come. In other words, the time has come, the Walrus said, quoting C.S. Lewis, to talk of many things. 1. Hamas Charter explicitly ridicules international peace efforts and promises the destruction of Israel and the indiscriminate killing of Jews. No one doubts that Hamas would take out ALL Jews if given the opportunity, and given the history recently of the Jewish nation--how many nations had to fight a war on the night of their birth--todays action was foreseen by many of us eons ago. The beginning of the solution to this problem is the Hamas Charter. Without addressing articles 2 and 13, to begin with, we are wasting our time. So... it is time to talk peace. It is time for Hamas to disarm and for the Arab world, to once and for all, come to the table and talk talk. Otherwise, have it on good authority, that like a tree standing by the rivers of water, Israel shall not be swayed by the court of public opinion--not when the letter of Arab law, its writ as such to speak, openly defies all humanity and basic decency. Will the Arabs now come and talk peace... or shall we expect Israel to, like in 67, begin thinking about setting the green light on their nuclear silos? You are the head of the UN. You MUST use this position to initiate, once and for all, an end to this ceaseless and seemingly forever bloodshed. 2. Corruption in the Palestinian Authority has brought this about. It is what led to the coup by Hamas, a terrorist organization, and the PA has always lacked the credibility to speak to the aspirations of the Palestinian Arabs since the assassination of Arafat. As your predecessor will inform you, some of us interned as watchmen during the Camp David Clinton days, and before the Big Mountain was unceremoniously removed from this planet, it is on record--and you can get this information from my people--that he passed on the olive branch which I now have taped to my right hand. Do not let this olive branch fall off. 3. Peace on earth, sir, is now your prerogative. We await your words or wisdom. ZM
