Mr. President, Im sure that you are going to be telling these fine examples of Florida law enforcement professionals that you expect them to be held to a higher standard, right? Isnt that what you said about the professionals in my home state? It seems to me that the president of the most powerful nation in the world is not necessarily out of touch with reality, but instead, living in his own reality. Because for him to denounce the actions in this video, he has to come face to face with the fact that there might be a black racist female cop with an axe to grind. Im not suggesting that the woman in the video is a racist. Im suggesting that the possibility exists. I dont know her personally and I have faith in the system. All parties involved will be dealt with. But in the end, our society has become a place where hurting someones feelings can result in a lawsuit filed, lying is acceptable, and police are viewed as bullies and thugs who do more harm than good. The ground troops are a reflection of the leadership. Our president is an asshole, and the newest version of lower enlisted people are really the same in terms of attitude. So its not a surprise that theres going to be problems with a police officer when his chief has a bad attitude.
