Mrs. Hallie Love Hicks, 86, of Winston-Salem died Monday, April 21, 2013 at Trinity Elms in Clemmons. She was born May 6, 1927 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, Richard Glass and Mattie Salmons Love. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Woodland Baptist Church where she was in the Auditorium Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Thomas Hicks, Sr. and her infant sister, Ramona Love. Survivors include five children, Glenn T. Hicks Jr. and… wife, Kathedene, Connie H. Palmer and husband, Tommy and Ellen H. Logan and husband, Albert of Winston-Salem, Kathy H. Plemmons and husband, Roger of Clemmons and Dave A. Hicks and wife, Amy of High Point; six grandchildren, Shane, Shannon, Henri, Micah, Griffin , a special grandchild, Danielle; four great grandchildren, Lauren, Maggie, Jon Jr., and Maggie Rose; five brothers and sisters, R. J. Love of Pilot Mountain, Nellie Whitener of Walkertown, Lucy Reich of Cary and Delphia Reid and Tommy Love of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 PM at Woodland Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Gammons and Brother Vic Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 2:15 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church Building Fund, 1117 Bethania Rural Hall Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
