Mrs Kentish-Egan and Mr Astaphan celebrated as Queens Counsel ======================== On Monday night the close friends and families of Mrs Joyce Kentish-Egan and Mr Thomas (Tommy) Astaphan enjoyed a reception at Government House in Anguilla to mark their appointment as Queens Counsel (QC). Being appointed a QC, or taking silk as it is also known, is one of the highest accolades in the legal profession. Dame Janice Pereira, Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court was on hand to congratulate the new QCs on their appointment and to thank them for their service to the legal profession over many years.
