Ms. Helen Clark, #UNDP Administrator & Mr. Antonio Guterres #UNHCR Commissioner held a press conference at the Grand Serail where they discussed their visit to #Lebanon which aimed at obtaining a better understanding of the impact of the #Syrian #crisis in Lebanon and the needs for development support, and engaging in discussions with national and local authorities on the current response. The conference followed meetings with Government officials, donor counterparts, civil society organizations, women leaders, representatives of private enterprises and other development partners where discussions were held concerning ways to help affected communities cope with the increasing social and economic strain they are facing. Answers and questions from the media were included at the end of the press conference.
