It is a product of partnership involving the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the United Nations Children’s Fund, the UK Department for International Development, and the World Bank (WB). The 2014-2019 project receives a funding of over 60 million USD from the International Development Association and WB lenders. The incentive will develop the existing data collected from the most vulnerable living in need into a national database, partly in order to improve the efficiency of public procurement. For a start, it will run on a trial basis in the northernmost province of Ha Giang, the central province of Quang Nam, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, and the southern province of Tra Vinh. Poor mothers-to-be will receive advices on parental skills while local officials will benefit from assistance in management innovations and policymaking.-VNA
