Mt. Suswa Hiking Itinerary 0n 9th November 2013. Depart from Kencom, opposite Bata Shop our meeting point at 6:20 am for Mt Suswa day trip hike, one n’ half hours’ drive through Naivasha –Nakuru highway via Mai Mahiu with a brief stopover at Great Rift Valley View point then we proceed down the escarpment, which is the Eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley, and head towards Suswa. After our stopover we will then proceed, expected to arrive at 8:30am, start Hiking, Bird Watching and site seeing. Around 01:00 pm, we will then have our lunch at the picnic site then proceed to discover the Suswa caves en route to the summit. Once we get to the summit, relax and enjoy the view as we take photos then start our journey back after having conquered the mighty Suswa around 4:00 pm then start our journey back too Nairobi.
