Much has been said over the past week on social media regarding Tibet Office USAs decision to publish the names of the Tibetan Shugden Buddhists who demonstrated against the Dalai Lama in Europe recently. The Dalai Lama is visiting Italy this month. To put this story in perspective, imagine the international uproar if the Italian Governments Embassy in the US published a hit-list of Italians who had spoke out against the Pope. The Italian Government would be made a laughing stock, and human rights organizations would be clambering over themselves to speak up for these Italians.
