Much thanks to Michael Greenholt for posting this cool pic of the Space Shuttle Endeavour on permanent display at the California Science Center here in Los Angeles. Only one problem, I havent been down to see it yet! I also havent seen to Pompeii exhibit which is now getting ready to close next Sunday on my birthday, January 11! I also havent been inside the Natural History Museum or seen a planetarium show at Griffith Observatory in I dont know how long. Enough! Its museum time, people! I want to see space ships. I want to look at very old things. I want to gaze at dinosaur bones and planets and ancient ruins and feel very small and young and think about what it means to be me in the light of all this amazing truth. So get your parents to sign your permission slip, pack yourself a nice sack lunch and make sure you dont miss the Deansters museum bus, cuz its leaving soon! Perhaps even this coming week.
