Mugging in Queens Park Avenue Yesterday at 9pm. A couple was having a evening walk approaching the bridge at the top of Queens Park Avenue. They saw 4 coloured men throwing bottles onto the highway from the bridge and then approaching them. The 4 men started being aggressive when the wife ran off screaming for help, however they proceeded to beat the husband. The security at Queengate chased the buggers down the street but of course could not go all the way as they could not leave the complex unattended. The attackers left with nothing as the couple had nothing with them of value. 30 odd people came out to investigate and help the couple and I must say that was a beautiful thing to see. People reacted to the screaming and that is what needs to happen. the 4 attackers where at the bottom of Queens Park seen laughing at the incident. We waited for the cops to come and even told them exactly where the attackers where but there was obviously no fast reaction. the guys got away. Who should we call for a faster response?
