Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a truthful person. From Muhammads sayings: -Abdullah Bin mr Bin Al aas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported: the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: four (characteristics) whoever has them will be a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of them will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless he gives it up: whenever he is entrusted, he betrays; whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous; whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting, unjust manner. agreed upon. - Abdullah Bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (pbuh) said: truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth till he is written before Allah, a truthful person. Falsehood leads to Al- Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (hell) fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar. agreed upon. From Muhammad s life: - Abu Sufyan Bin Harb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported in his long speech in the story of heraclius, heraclius said: what does he order you to do (means the Prophet – peace be upon him)? Abu Sufyan said: ((he tells us to worship Allah and Allah alone and not to worship anything along with him, and to renounce all that our ancestors had said. He orders us to pray, to speak the truth, to be chaste and to keep good relations with our kith and kin)) agreed upon. ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺻﺎﺩﻗﺎً ﻣﻦ ﺃﻗﻮﺍﻝ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ : - ﻋﻦ ﻋﺒﺪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻤﺮﻭ ﺑﻦ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﺹ ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻤﺎ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ : )) ﺃﺭﺑﻊ ﻣﻦ ﻛﻦ ﻓﻴﻪ ﻛﺎﻥ ﻣﻨﺎﻓﻘﺎ ﺧﺎﻟﺼﺎ ﻭﻣﻦ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺧﺼﻠﺔ ﻣﻨﻬﻦ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺧﺼﻠﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﻔﺎﻕ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﺪﻋﻬﺎ : ﺇﺫﺍ ﺍﺅﺗﻤﻦ ﺧﺎﻥ، ﻭﺇﺫﺍ ﺣﺪﺙ ﻛﺬﺏ، ﻭﺇﺫﺍ ﻋﺎﻫﺪ ﻏﺪﺭ، ﻭﺇﺫﺍ ﺧﺎﺻﻢ ﻓﺠﺮ(( ﻣﺘﻔﻖ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ. - ﻋﻦ ﺍﺑﻦ ﻣﺴﻌﻮﺩ ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻗﺎﻝ : )) ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺼﺪﻕ ﻳﻬﺪﻱ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﺒﺮ ﻭﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺒﺮ ﻳﻬﺪﻱ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ؛ ﻭﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺟﻞ ﻟﻴﺼﺪﻕ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﻜﺘﺐ ﻋﻨﺪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺻﺪﻳﻘﺎ، ﻭﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﻜﺬﺏ ﻳﻬﺪﻱ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻔﺠﻮﺭ ﻭﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﻔﺠﻮﺭ ﻳﻬﺪﻱ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ؛ ﻭﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺟﻞ ﻟﻴﻜﺬﺏ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﻜﺘﺐ ﻋﻨﺪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻛﺬﺍﺑﺎ(( ﻣﺘﻔﻖ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻴﺎﺓ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ : - ﻋﻦ ﺃﺑﻲ ﺳﻔﻴﺎﻥ ﺻﺨﺮ ﺑﻦ ﺣﺮﺏ ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺪﻳﺜﻪ ﺍﻟﻄﻮﻳﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻗﺼﺔ ﻫﺮﻗﻞ ﻗﺎﻝ ﻫﺮﻗﻞ : ﻓﻤﺎﺫﺍ ﻳﺄﻣﺮﻛﻢ ( ﻳﻌﻨﻲ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) ﻗﺎﻝ ﺃﺑﻮ ﺳﻔﻴﺎﻥ : ﻗﻠﺖ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ))ﺍﻋﺒﺪﻭﺍ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻭﺣﺪﻩ ﻻ ﺗﺸﺮﻛﻮﺍ ﺑﻪ ﺷﻴﺌﺎ، ﻭﺍﺗﺮﻛﻮﺍ ﻣﺎ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ﺁﺑﺎﺅﻛﻢ، ﻭﻳﺄﻣﺮﻧﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﺼﻼﺓ ﻭﺍﻟﺼﺪﻕ ﻭﺍﻟﻌﻔﺎﻑ ﻭﺍﻟﺼﻠﺔ(( ﻣﺘﻔﻖ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ
