Mukesh Ambani got 19th rank in Forbes new list.. Forbes new list (2012) of 1226 US Dollar billionaires across the globe has ranked Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries on 19th place with USD 22.3 billion. According the report published in the magazine, during last year Mr. Ambani has lost as sum of Rs. USD 4.7 billion. The list has recognized Carlos Slim Helu, the telecom czar from Mexico as the wealthiest person of the year with a net-worth USD 69 billion. Bill Gates has been placed at number two position with his USD 61 billion net-worth, the list is followed by Warren Buffet of Berkshire Hathway with USD 44 billion. It should be noted that 72 years of Carlos Slim successfully secured his top position for third year. Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, 27, ranked 35th with a net worth of USD 17.5 billion. Among other Indian business leaders Lakshmi Mittal (21st global rank) with net worth USD 20.7 billion; Azim Premje (36th rank) with a net worth USD 15.9 billion; Savitri Jindal and familiy (80th rank) with a net worth 10.9 billion are placed among top 100 global wealthiest persons of the year 2012. India currently has 48 "US dollar billionaires" after United States, Russia and China whose (individuals with a total net worth of one billion dollars and above), accounts for roughly 4.5% of the global total of 1,226 billionaires across the six continents. Among other most talked business houses Sunil Mittal of Bharti Group secured 113rd position with net worth USD 8.1 billion, Kumar Mangalam Birla if Aditya Birla Group has secured 116th position with net worth USD 8 billion and Anil Ambani has been placed at 116th positon with a net worth of USD 7.8 billion.
