Mulenga Sata Booed after Sham Election New Lusaka District chairman Mulenga Sata was yesterday booed as he took to the stage shortly after ascending to the position as a sole candidate. Sata, who is Lusaka Deputy Mayor, took his new position after his only challenger Goodson Banda withdrew when his supporters mainly from Matero and Munali constituencies were barred from entering from entering Mulungushi International Conference Centre. The rest of the elected officials had Matildah Mutale as District Women’s Treasurer, Chibwe Musonda was elected Women’s Secretary. The position of Information and Publicity Secretary went to Mwenya Matafwali with Davison Mulenga being elected District Secretary.
