Mum question: I wondered if you and your readers could advise me on how the gently remove a dummy from my 22 month old. She is only allowed it for sleeping and has an afternoon nap still. Once she is asleep I take it out now and put it on her bedside table but as she is used to waking, finding it and replacing in her mouth she now becomes unsettled in the night if she wakes and cant find it. My aim is by the time her 2nd birthday comes that it has been phased out but I feel she is so attached to it for settling to sleep that it will be a real issue.
