Murdered for nothing. Said I cant breathe in the recording 11 times. All ignored. When EMS arrived (i remember via local news) they didnt try to revive him. They were saying bullshit like Wake up sir. We need to go. Eric Garner died. And apparently the NYPD has no problem with it. You cannot investigate yourself. You cannot have a local prosecutor who constantly interacts with police as part of their jobs running a grand jury that could indict a police officer of murder. And look at the result. Being a person of color just got even more difficult. The police can detain a man for walking around with his hands in his pockets on a cold night. (Because hes black.) And that was in broad daylight. Here they killed a man (all recorded) because of the use of (according to the coroner) #1 an illegal choke hold that can kill when maintained and #2 compression of his chest by having 6 police officers restrict the ability for your lungs to expand. Like certain snakes do. And in the end it was deemed that nothing was done wrong by the NYPD. Which is exactly what is wrong with the NYPD. If you cant be held accountable for anything then why should you ever fear exercising your bias?
